After having Vista rename my old XP primary partition I decided to start clean...a new day if you will. I install Vista x64 on my RAID 0 set and gave it 100gb of the stripe. 50gb are left and I want to put XP Pro back on that so I can have a printer that works and a couple of video games that rock more with SLI enabled on the GPUs. I've read a lot about dual booting Vista and XP, and even Linux...but most of these articles reference RC1 and RC2 Vista releases, which I find to not work with the instructions. Can someone please give me a game plan to tackle this so that I'm not installing boot loaders all night long. |

1) I installed Vista on C dive: 2) Next I installed XP on the X drive: This caused the XP loader to take over and Vista was not an option to boot to. 3) I did the Vista recovery for the startup options...that took two seconds but Vista doesn't see it. I'll take a look at both of you folks options tonight and will repost tomorrow. |
