Cannot delete or sent message in outbox with Vista's Windows Mail

Question: I have a gateway that came with vista home premum. They have replaced outlook with the new "windows mail". There is a problem where a file in the "outbox" gets stuck and cannot be sent, deleted, or moved. As long as there is that undeliverable message in the outbox, I cannot send any emails. I have tried to delete the file in windows explorer, the outbox folders acts as if it was deleted, but it is still on my outbox. Mircrsoft has to be aware of this, but they seem to be afraid of acknowledging it.
