I think those sneakly boys at MS are making MS OneCare run faster under Vista than co

I always ran Norton Antivirus and Firewall under Windows XP. I tried running it under Vista and man was it slow - webpages were taking forever to load.

So I figured, what the heck, I'll download a trial version of OneCare and use the Vista Firewall. WOW, what a difference! Superfast and smooth.

My question is, has M$ intentionally written Vista to "slow down" when using competitors products to make us switch to OneCare? I have a sneakin suspicion they have.

I do not know what Microsoft intensions are, but programs not design to run on Windows Vista is slow in comparison to running on Windows XP. For example, Outlook 2003 runs slow on Windows Vista, but Outlook 2007 runs faster.

Make sure you have the latest version of Norton Antivirus. Make sure you have all the program updates.
