Microsoft To Offer Free Vista Upgrades
Though Microsoft has refused to confirm the programme publicly they have indicated that they would be working with their partner channels on this issue. Betanews has also mentioned that the free or discounted upgrade would be based on the current operating system installed. This is a good move by Microsoft as anyone looking forward to upgrade their PC will now has a compelling reason to do so. Vista is looking good already and I firmly believe will do well straight out the box. The Aero experience itself is compelling enough for a reason to upgrade to the new OS. |
