Where the *&#@$ did my run button go, vista

Ok this is retarded... I can't believe I'm asking this. I have 12 professional certifications and 20 years experience as an engineer and director. And now here I am in Vista and I can't find my freaking RUN button. I wanted to pin the run button to my start menu from accessories, but there was no pin button. So i tried to drag and drop it to the start menu out of accessories and poof its gone.. now I have no more run button!!! How do i get my run button back and how to i pin it to my start menu.

You just need to right click the "Start" button (or whatever its new name is in Vista, since it no longer contains the word Start on it), and:

click Properties.
From the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialog, click Customize.
Scroll down through the list until you shall find Run command. Check the box next to it.
Click OK.
