Need to access SQL database that is running on a Vista machine from other machines.
SQL Server 2005 Developer edition with SP2 I cannot connect to the database in SQL. I can see it in analyzer, I just can't access it. I get an access denied every time I try to get into it. It is on the same domain and segment so it shouldn't have anything to do with routing or firewalls. I have tried adding the domain user account as an administrator on the Vista machine and adding it to the SQL server accounts as well. I have the windows firewall turned off. I tried disabling UAP. For some reason port 1433 is still being blocked by something. Please help. |
