Do I need a third party sofware to allow this to happen as Premium Home does not seem to do remote access. |

You mentioned: - the server is already configured for VPN access -The XPPro PC's are configured to allow remote desktop access -the above has been in place and working -you want to access these same PC's with Vista home laptops. You simply have to configure the Windows VPN client on the Vista machines: Vista VPN Client And start the remote desktop client on the Vista machine the same way as you would on any other connecting computer. Vista home will not restrict you in anyway from these options. This works with any operating system from Windows 98 to MAC's. All versions of XP and Vista have the client built in, and you can download for MAC's and old Windows versions. However, if you wanted to connect to a Vista home machine that will not work, you need Vista Boxiness. |
