I tried running an update on Media player and it is completely up to date version 11.0.6000.6324 It has had no issues with MP3 playing before. Now all of a sudden, it will not play an MP3 file. It gives the following message: Windows Media Player cannot access the file. The file might be in use, you might not have access to the computer where the file is stored, or your proxy settings might not be correct. When clicking on the Web Help button, it says: You've encountered error message C00D11D2 File access is not an issue. Multiple users have been used, and all have both local admin rights on the box, and full control access to all files and folders involved. - I have moved the files to a different directory. - I have tried moving them to the My Music folder. - I have tried opening a network drive with them (they work on other computers). - I have tried moving them to a flash drive and opening them there. - I am able to play midi files from the same folders as the MP3 and WAV files in question. Any help on this one would be greatly appreciated. |
