Web browser running very slow...if at all

I am having some problems now with Internet Explorer. The first web pages will load...but then any more clicks to other web pages....and it takes VERY long to load....and it usually takes so long that I close the window before seeing any part of the next page....so I'm not even positive that the page ever will load. I have two other computers both running off the same router, one wirless, one hard-wired)....no problems (the problem computer is hard-wired)
So, I installed mozilla and still have the same problem....acts the same as IE...so I need some other thoughts

I am running on Windows Vista and up until a week ago, everything was running just fine. I'm thinking I made adjustments to my router, DNS...something and this is the root of my problems. any thoughts?

Have you played around with the route command at all?
Most likely running "netsh int ip reset" will take care of it after the reboot. If using static IPs you would have to re-enter them after the reboot.
