For many months, off and on, I have been trying to figure out how to get Windows (Vista and/or XP) to create interactive login sessions for all users with sufficient permissions on boot, and present me initially with a locked login screen to acccess these three active sessions.
That is, I want the three main user accounts I have set up to "log in" and run their respective start up programs on boot without me having to log in to each individually then switch user, log in again, swiotch user, log in again. I then want to have to enter a password to actually access the desktops of each account.
Having studied the logon process and the way that windows handles interactive login tokens, I *know* this must be possible, butI just can't nail it. Has anyone battled this before... and won?
A more than acceptable solution would be to have two extra user sessions created when the administrative user logged in.
