Windows Media Player 11 full screen playback always 4:3 on 16:9 laptop screen

I recently upgraded (debateably) to Windows Vista Ultimate from XP. I now have the problem that any video content i watch on windows media player 11 in full screen mode is in 4:3 format on my 16:9 widescreen laptop. I have watched media with other players (media player classic, mplayer, zoom player and VLC) which all show video in perfect 16:9 on full screen mode. I would normally just stop using WMP but lots of stuff on the internet is streamed through it!
I have already gone to Tools>Options>Devices>Display Properties, regardless of where i set the Pixel aspect ratio full screen is always in 4:3 with annoying black bars down the side.

I'm using multiple video programs. For video I use bsplayer because it has a powerfull support for subtitle, but also to Mediaplayer classic.
Now regarding to your question, Mediaplayer classic 6.4 has an ability to keep aspect ratio, the same lets say, 16:9 for your widescreen and it will remember next time it will open new window.

I'm uploading the version I have. It's the latest I've got.
