Verizon Wireless PC5750 and Vista

Question: I am considering installing a Verizon Wireless PC5750 card in my laptop. I am rnning Vista as the OS. Have ther been any problems or successes with the 5750 card and Vista.

The general consensus of this cards useage is that it works well in built up area's like large towns and cities where the coverage is strong but it fails to perform well in areas of low density such as country or lesser built up zones.
It is Vista compatible but I have come across a few customer who have had to download later drivers in order to get it to work with their laptops. Others have been luckier and it works first time.
The customer support for the card is not great either.
