My Vista profile logon icon is gone

A user had a problem logging into Vista, I tracked it down to the preinstalled HP Credential Manager software. I've uninstalled it which now allows the user to logon fine. But it has removed her logon Icon from Vista now. She has to click on 'Other user' and manually type her name and password. Can't seem to find a way of putting her profile icon back. All her Vista profile is still intact.

Any ideas?

More specifically, found this from PUNKY's link:

Locate key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Pol icies\System

-> change the value of "dontdisplaylastusername" to 1.

Then you should get two text fields: one for username and one for password
