Stop error: 0x0000007E page_fault_in_nonpaged_area

Windows XP Home

This is a client's PC.

After you try to login into Windows (any user) this error appears:
Page_Fault_in_nonpages_area
Stop Error: 0x0000007E
at the bottom of the page "spooldr.sys" is mentioned.

Additionally, I also got Stop error: 0x00000050

I can NOT get into Safe Mode properly. You can select Administrator to login in but the desktop never opens. It remains black. If you ctrl-alt-del you can access task manager and run commands directly from there.

I tried several system restores from this area and they failed.
I used UBCD and tested the hard disk and RAM. Both tested OK.
I am currently trying chkdsk /r from Recovery console

The PC is infected with a rootkit (this is the spooldr.sys file). You need to run AV solutions from a bootable CD (e.g. UBCD, as you have it), and also run rootkit eliminators. Blacklight detects hidden files (F-Secure Blacklight > Rootkit Elimination Technology).
