Who would have thunk it, Electronic Arts is bringing a popular franchise over to two more consoles?
The company today announced The Godfather: The Don's Edition for the Playstation 3 and The Godfather: Blackhand Edition for the Wii.
The PS3 version will ship with the Corleone Expansion Pack, which features new gameplay and missions, as well as a new Shipyard and Rail yard to explore. The game will also make use of the Sixaxis motion controls to let you shake people around.
The Wii version will, of course, be dipped in motion-control goodness, letting you use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to deliver a beatdown and the Remote to point and aim your gun.
The PS3 version will, I'm sure, be just fine, but the Wii version could swing either way. I could see it having a tacked on feel, sort of like with Call of Duty 3, or causing the game to really pop like with Madden.
