hey ive just inherited a laptop from my dad, who in turn lent it to a 'freind' who has buggered it up. Basically everything loads fine onto the desktop then an error box comes up saying:

windows explorer cannot load.

next another box appears saying

windows is searching for solutions.

it sends a report to microsoft and then starts the whole loop again, over and over every 30 bloody seconds.

Things ive tried are the microsoft one2one full system scan which uncovers a trojandownloader (win32:renos) which it deletes, but it reappears every time.
Any advice?

also a file called dxovx.dll seems to be causing probs
