how to get rid of Activate windows XP message

Question: How to get rid of this message "30 days left to activate your windows" in Win XP Home edition.is there any way i can get rid of this message coz ive done a lot of installation on my computer and i dont have the serial number either.

i don't have the serial number either

what do ya mean by this ? .......................so is that one an illegal copy ?? ......or you have downloaded the trial version from some where ....if its an illegal copy i or anybody else cant provide the serial or link ....due to EE Rules

as usually stated by people here at EE i am just writing it because i knew u will not be reading the rules section

" U r not allowed to ask question or post information abt serialls , crackz , warez , hacking hints ,hacking tools and illegal content which may break legal laws !! "

and if you have downloaded it from some where then also we cant help it since we cant suggest breaking the trial version of windows xp !!

30 days left to activate your windows

if u have installed windows from any other CD that comes with a laptop or a particular pc then this might be the reason it is giving activation message ...u will not be able to use windows after 30 Days ...u have to install it again to get it working .....

there is only one way that is to use the genuine xp key for reregistring ur xp .....or use a genuine microsoft windows xp cd !

is it possible i can install with some other cd and it doesnt affect my programs.

I doubt no !! .....u have to format ur c drive to install a newer version of window ...and this would be really painful as every program even many games stop responding or get corupter when windows is installed ...(due to change and refresh in registy these program loses there values form registry ....)

u may back up all thing which are in ur c drive (ur photos ,important files) and then format c drive to install fresh windows !! ...as far as i knew there might not be a way to save ur installed programs !!
