How to migrate ODBC connections from one machine to another

Question: Hi there-

I am trying to find out if there is a way of migrating or copying the ODBC connection settings from one machine to another (in Windows XP). I am not worried about the password information to be carried through correctly, because they use NT authentication in SQL server. I have to do this for a number of machines, so it would be helpful to "export" odbc connection information from one machine and then to import into other.

On XP, export this key in the registry to a .reg file, and import it back on the others....

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBC.INI

Make sure the same connectivity drivers are installed though....
