Default What issue can I expect if I have the incorrect system date entered?

Question: I have a program that is not working in the year 2007. I also have quite a few customers using this same program. I called tech support and their advise was to change the system date back to 2006. The computers running this program are all Windows XP machines. Some are on a domain, some part of a workgroup, and some are just idividuall pc's. If I change the system date on these machines will I start to see some issues? LIke with domain login? I am going out to install this program on a customers computer this afternoon and I would like to be prepared.

As JamesTX10 stated, you will likely get the error message: "Computer time does not match time on Domain, Please contact your administrator" (or something very similar).

As far as startup issues on the workstations & stand-alones -- I do not see any problems there.

Should you roll the clock back any "current date" functions in programs will be displayed with the rolled back year.
--- Word / Excel / Access Header "Auto Date"
--- Anyother reporting software that grabs date from system clock
....... These shouldn't affect startup.
