- enter correct details to basic authentication request (userid/password) - call any URL on the site (surf) - submit a form (funnily, the form needs no data) The practical use of this is to log into an ADSL router, find the correct page, submit the form that disconnects the router from the session, log out. (and then later, after some other stuff is done, do the same again to connect the router again). I would prefer not to have to program anything, as I have no programming environment available on the Windows platform, so some kind of utility software would be great - doesn't have to be free, but it always helps. |
