After booting a few times sucessfully, I now receive the error: --------------------------- Lsass.exe - System Error An I/O operation initiated by the Registry failed unrecoverably. The Registry could not read in, or write out, or flush one of the files that contains the system's image of the Registry. ---------------------------- This error happens at the same time as the Windows login. I can't get past it without it restarting itself. Safe mode doesn't work either. Is there a way I can get my computer to load without re-installing the OS? |

Remove the HDD and either 'Slave' it off another computer or buy a USB "Enclosure" that will allow you to plug the HDD into it, then connect to a good computer via a USB port. You can get an IDE connector for a notebook HDD to connect to a desktop IDE cable, or a 2 1/2 inch USB Enclosure. |
