Windows Task Scheduler: Will programs that require an interactive environment run sc

Question: We have a nightly process that runs. It's in an Excel sheet (this will be changing long term). However, if the system isn't logged in, the process won't run, regardless of whether it's scheduled in Windows Scheduler or a third party scheduling application.

The program simply opens, runs some quick VB, then closes. Any reason why this shouldn't work, or is it due to the fact that it need a user logged on to work?

as long as the ID you configure it to run under has thoe permissions ... yes ... I have a bunch of them running
