VPN cleaner made me lose Internet access?

I have an HP zv6000 laptop which was working fine accessing the Internet, however, after running a vpn cleanup tool from Sonicwall, I no longer can access the Internet. I tried the following:
> ping a known server on the network and received "destination unreachable"
> ipconfig and received "Windows IP Configuration"
> Control Panel, Network Connections, TCP/IP, Properties, "auto obtain IP and DNS settings" turned on.

All other desktops on the network continue to have access to the Internet, but not me. What am I missing?

start>run>cmd

netsh int ip reset reset.log
netsh winsock reset
netsh firewall reset

Failing that, after a reboot (go back and disable the XP firewall as well), and then uninstall all Networking devices left inside the Device Manager. Then reboot, and allow windows to reinstall them. Shouldnt need new drivers.

Lastly, make sure that there are no extra bindings in the Network adapters settings, for older VPN software. Network connection>rt click>Properties.
