Iam having problems with the latest Windows update patch. It seems KB890830 causes AVG to fail to load when Windows starts. As a result Windows reports Firewall Off. If I do a System Restore to prior to Windows updating the computer starts normally, AVG starts Windows Firewall ON. Thus far I have accepted all the updates except KB890830 and the system is stable. I note that MS is intending to update this Malware removal tool monthly so am I going to hit this conflict every month? Has anyone seen simular issues and found any fix?

KB890830 kills my AVG and turns Off Windows Firewall
