http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=811660 mainly the "Purge files for non-primary users at logoff" section.... the Offline files database is located at C:\windows\csc, and it is not organized by user folders. It is a database format, that all offline files are put into. Thats why multiple users on an offline laptop have this problem. Under your userid, in the registry you will see something like the following... HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\NetCache\Shares, and subkeys for your home share, and the other shares as well. You can delete those values, and reinitialize the csc database to start with a fresh sync of your own files as well. But it just wont stay until you make this change... How to re-initialize the offline files cache and database http://support.microsoft.com/kb/230738 |
