need to create a combined PDF of 6 manuals

Question: So many project and such a huge learning curve that I need to figure them all out at the same time.

New project. I have to create a master manual using 6 or 7 pdf files and splash screen. This master pdf will combine them all as books on the index on the left and allow you to jump back and forth between books and there indexes. I tried using frame maker but they wont open pdfs and cant figure out how to get the project started.

Any idea how to get this done and what program will be the best to do this.

Adobe Acrobat Professional.

I am not trying t oplug Adobe, but it is probably the easiest solution to your project.

What format are the files in currently?
