Screen Saver

I have a windows XP SP2 computer that has a group policy that disables changing the screen saver. I need to modify the registry to chnage this. I understand that the group policy will push back down to the workstation on the next reboot but if I keep it off the network I can solve my issue for a few hours is all I need. Does anyone know what reg key controls this ?

Try.....

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
ScreenSaverIsSecure, change to 0
ScreensaveTimeOut, change to a longer # of seconds

That wont totally disable it, but make the timeout longer, and easier to work with...

Use the next one at your own risk (of being disciplined by your local admins)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Wind ows\Control Panel\Desktop
ScreenSaveActive, set to 0
