Default Uninstall IE 7.0 from VISTA

We are testing a Desktop machine with Vista Business Edition, I believe Vista comes with IE 7.0.
We are having difficulties with displaying some of our Intranet pages and this is because of IE7, we've tested on Win XP IE 6.0 seems ok.
Is it possible to uninstall IE 7.0 from Vista and install IE 6.0??

I have no experience with Virtual Server. Perhaps other experts will check into your question to offer advice on that (if not, you could create a 20-point "pointer" question that contains in the question body the URL of THIS question, asking for help on solving your problem.) In the meantime, you might want to take a look at this page on Virtual Server FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions):

Virtual Server 2005 Frequently Asked Questions

In particular, some of the questions from that web page:

Q. What are the differences between Virtual PC and Virtual Server?

A. Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 is a virtual machine solution for desktop operating systems. Microsoft Virtual Server 2005, on the other hand, is a solution for server operating systems. Although Virtual PC and Virtual Server share many features in common, they are designed for different purposes. As a result, some of their features are also quite different. Microsoft has created a white paper that explains the differences between Virtual PC and Virtual Server, and discusses the scenarios in which it is appropriate to use one or the other.

Q. Which operating systems can serve as hosts for Virtual Server 2005?

A. The following operating systems are required as hosts to run Virtual Server 2005:

" 32-bit Operating Systems

" Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition or later
" Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition or later
" Windows Server 2003 Datacenter Edition or later
" Windows Small Business Server 2003 Standard Edition or later
" Windows Small Business Server 2003 Premium Edition or later
" Windows XP Professional (for non-production use only)

" 64-bit Operating Systems (64-bit support only for Virtual Server 2005 R2)

" Windows Server 2003 x64 Standard Edition or later
" Windows Server 2003 x64 Enterprise Edition or later
" Windows Server 2003 x64 Datacenter Edition or later
" Windows XP Professional x64 (for non-production use only)

Q. Which operating systems can be run as guests in Virtual Server 2005 R2?

A. The following operating systems are supported guests of Virtual Server:

" Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition (Windows Server 2003 SP1 support for Virtual Server 2005 R2 only)
" Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition or later
" Windows Server 2003 Web Edition or later
" Windows Small Business Server 2003 Standard Edition or later
" Windows Small Business Server 2003 Premium Edition or later
" Windows 2000 Server
" Windows 2000 Advanced Server
" Windows NT Server 4.0 with Service Pack 6a
" Windows XP SP2 (for Virtual Server 2005 R2 only)

In April 2005, Microsoft announced future plans to support additional third-party operating systems, including certain Linux distributions, on Virtual Server 2005 R2. More details of the specific guest operating systems that will be supported and the means of support will be provided at a later date.
