Hybrid Sleep, more like Hybrid Coma ?

I got a Dell Workstation, running vista business... I've talked to a few of my other IT friends all running Vista Business on different hardware. Same problem. Vista goes to sleep, or I put it to sleep. Anyway, It goes to sleep, but then soon after wakes up, turns on the fans and drives, monitor and keyboard remain non functional. Will not wake up, period. Beating on the keyboard does not help : ( Neither does swearing at it.

I've googled this, most results stating turning off hybrid sleep, change power / performance mode or updating drivers, nvidia drivers or, etc. Still continues. Very annoying. Can't get it to come back without doing a hard restart. I keep waiting for a microsoft update to fix it. I am concerned though if i'm having this problem sooner or later my clients will to... is their a registry hack or..
