Can anyone help me.

Have had this crash happening over the last week. Have tried to virus check using AVG free and it will crash during the scan and also have tried using SPYBOT scan as well to the same avail another blue screen of death crash.

The code on the blue screen of death crash is

STOP 0x0000008E (0X0000005, 0X804EF196, 0X9BD86C14,0X00000000)


The Error Code on window report on rebooting back up is

BCCode : 1000008e BCP1 : C0000005 BCP2 : 804EF196 BCP3 : 9BD86C14
BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 3_0 Product : 256_1

I am attemting all the microsoft updates available to me including some hardware driver updates.
Will see how that goes.
But am hoping someone else may have had this problem and has found out what is the cause of it and the best method to fixing this problem.

Any help is most appreciated.....

Have tried doing scans in safe mode and it managed to complete the scan in Spybot and find virtumonde trojansC. I have removed it via spybot and rescanned twice and it seems not to be reappearing. I have heard that this trojan plays havoc with settings etc. Any advice?
