xp dual bootr install hal.dll error
I have a dual boot XP that has been working fine. I also had a boot manager called Acronis but this is disabled. After formatting my second partition XP and then trying to reinstall I am encountering the error missing hal.dll file. What exactly should I do? There is no hal.dll fiule on the second parition yet because Windows XP has only just started to install. Surely it is not referring to hal.dll on my main c drive? My boot ini file on C drive appears to be good. Solution this should help : http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_haldll_missing.htm |
