Disable shut down option. How?
I have a non-administrator login account on my PC. I want to disable the shut down button for that account. How do I do that? I am running Win XP Professional SP2. soln The shutdown option can be disabled from the local security policy (gpedit.msc) Under computer configuration -> local settings -> security settings -> user rights assignment -> Shutdown the system/computer. Change the allowed parties to administrators only, then reboot. /F |
