Keyhook.exe - Entry Point Not Found error on login to XP home SP2. This appeared after downloading a hardware update from Microsoft Update Page for a sis video driver. It has been causing system crashes intermittently since. I have now disabled the on-board sis video and have an APG board in situ. The PC is more stable now but this Keyhook.exe - Entry Point Not Found error comes up every time I log in. More info follows ..... Keyhook.exe Entry point not found. The procedure entry point ?readKey String @CSiSReg @@SAHPADHOPAUKEY_@@K@Z could not be located in the dynamic SiSBase.dll. How do I get rid of this annoyance? Soln Have to report that it not an ACER PC. It is a PC-self build with Winfast mainboard , with a SIS VGA on-board. I have actaully just managed to fix it my self by removing the SIS utilities provided by Winfast. and running a program called error-nuker. All in the garden is now rosey. Thanks for your input anyway. |

I'm having the exact same error. I noticed "Anilrgowda" that you mentioned "removing the SIS utilities provided by Winfast" as part of your solution. How exactly do you go about doing that? Many thanks |
