I tried installing Symantec Corporate Edition as a Symantec Antivirus Server on a Windows 2003 machine to manage a small group of client machines. The problem is when I click on Symantec Client Security -> Symantec AntiVirus, it prompts me for a username and password which I've forgotten. I've been searching the Net for various options, one said locate a tool called "iforgot.exe" which I couldn't find despite searching my entire machine. Yet another one said locate a key called "ConsolePassword" in the registry which I couldn't find even after searching the entire registry. Is there anything else I can do? I could have tried the "iforgot.exe" tool if I had one. Does anyone know of any download site I can get it from? Thanks and advance for your time Soln Hello, You have that tool on your system that has the SAV Console C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec System Center\Tools http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/0/0832c6cc670c4e1688256fe2000017d5 Read this paragraph: Reset the Symantec System Center admin user password |
