Cannot remove "System Volume Information" folder after partitions merged?

Is this folder still needed? I don't think so, since the E: is now a part of D:, right? So should I try restarting in command prompt and deleting from there? Soln In a command prompt cacls "c:\system volume information" /E /G username:F then you can delete. If you intend on using a Windows O/S on that drive your going to release permissions on (the one your running cacls.exe on) you'll need to put the permissions back. Recreate "System Volume Information" folder and then type cacls "c:\system volume information" /E /R username and your permissions will be back on that folder. |
