There are 3 automatic updates in my taskbar that will not update

Question: Here are the automatic updates:

Security Update for Excel 2003 (KB925257)
Security Update for Outlook 2003 (KB924085)
Update for Outlook 2003 Junk Email Filter (KB925534)

Can anyone help me find out why these items fail to update?

have you checked your 'Add /Remove Programs' applet -- WITH Display Updates 'checked' to see if they have already been installed?
That would cause a failure.

You can also copy your entire Office CD to your hard drive in it's own folder -- in case the update is looking for certain msi files.
(I saw where you tried putting the actual CD in the drive).
