XML4 "mystery" folders are being created and added to my root directory automatically
The contents of each folder has numerous lines of baffling text. There seems to be a similar reference in each folder referring to MSXML4. It seems the folders keep coming. Can anyone explain a solution for stopping the files from being auto-created? |

Verify if all the folder have the same files. If so, the same update (Windows Update) the system may be attempting to install the update repeatedly after failures. Check the log file (KBnnnnnn.log) inside one of the folders. It may provide some clues. |
