I was wondering if there was a way to copy settings made under one users account to the display and start menu and apply it to another account. The thing is, when I log into a machine that I'm building for a user, I log in under the domain Admin account and I make a ton of settings changes under that login. I change the start menu from the Windows XP one to the Classic interface, I right-click My Computer, go to Advanced, Perfromance and then uncheck everything but the bottom 2 boxes. Now when I go to login as the user, I have to change all these settings again and also change them for the local administrator account as well. I also setup the icons on the desktop and get rid of some from the start menu which does not get carried over to the user's account as well and I have to do that manually. Any ideas on how I could make it so that I could somehow apply these settings to different accounts? |
