Question: I have a Windows Media Center 2005 computer that I am trying to record TV on. I can watch live TV & even rewind/pause TV without a glitch, however, if I hit record or try to schedule a recording, it immediately pops up with an error: "The recording could not be scheduled for an unknown reason. Restart Media Center and try to schedule your recording again". I have tried restarting, to no avail. I think it has something to do with the "recorder storage settings". I try to specify it to use my D: drive, which has 60gb+ storage space & I assign a maximum TV limit of 80gb, but no matter how much I change, it keeps the "Approximate available recording time" at <1/2 hour! I would assume that is why I cannot record anything, however, whenever I make a change, it just reverts right back to a 5gb limit with <1/2 remaining.
If anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate it!
