Windows xp balloons tip size problem

Question: Hi my problem is that while working on my win xp pro the balloons tips in the taskbar somtimes go "down" and i cant see the whole yellow balloon.
usually i log off and in so it again works well untill again the problem occurs..
is there any possibility to prevent it?

Are you talking about balloon tips or tooltips? I see tooltips become hidden behind the taskbar fairly often. Here is a strange fix I found:
