Network connectivity problems

I have a new Sony laptop running XPPro connected to an SBS2003 domain. It's been ok for the first week, but today i'm having problems...

There is no Entire Network icon in My Computer. Internet connectivity is OK.

Synchronising fails, saying the network is not present.

Network Drive letters report as being disconnected, but I can see files there.

When I try to repair the Wireless connection, I get a message saying: 'The following action could not be completed - registering with DNS.

I've tried it with automatic DNS. I've also tried it the IP address of the server in there. Other pc's on the network are ok. There are no DNS errors in the Server Event Log

I've tried http://server/connectcomputer , but this says that the laptop is already on the domain.

Anyone any ideas?

Disable and re-enable the Wireless Connection.

Open a command prompt

and type 'ipconfig /flushdns'
