Opening default GPRS Connection - Help!

I'm attempting to write a very simple client application to send and receive information via sockets to our server.

I'm using c# and the .net framework and i'm desperately trying to work out how i interact with the GPRS side of the device, we're using the Qtek 2020 device, gprs is fully enabled and i can connect to it manually.

How do i programatically go about dialing the gprs connection? Is it anything to do with RAS? Do i need to use an external DLL? Does the .NET framework help with any of this?

ANY help is much appreciated as right at this moment i don't know where to start!
