i just updated to mozilla 2.0 and now my system will not connect... PLS help

here is the exact notice given:

Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at Google.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

hope this helps..i can connect to internet explorer...pls help

try to delete the cookies and temo files in mozilla

I think you are using Proxy

Just Open FireFox and In the Tool -> Option -> Advanced -> Network -> In Settings.

Set it to - Direct connect to internet,

well everyone, i have tried everything list in all other posts...but nothing has worked yet...more help
