Just in the last couple days I encounter show-stopping error whenever I use "Save Image As" menu. This feature has worked correctly forever until now, but *every* attempt fails for every image.

After the dialog box accepts a filename and directory for writing the fresh-saved file,
Error Console reports:

Error: not well-formed

Windows XP home, up-to-date patches.

firefox 2.0.0.3 (Error occurred in 1.5.x and I upgraded specifically to address it. Error continues).

IE 7 works properly - image save works as always

There are (by the way) numerous warning messages in the Error Console but these seem not to have visible consequences.

I have the exactly same problem. And Im new here too.
To tell the true I joined just cause of this error.

I had Firefox crash while downloading a file, and when I launched it again I couldn't download because it always gave me the "not well-formed" error. While searching around I found that that file once was deleted on startup, so I tried deleting it myself to see if it made a difference, and sure enough that fixed my problem. Downloads work again.

So if you're getting the error like this:
Then browse to the your Firefox profile directory and delete the file. Application Data is a hidden directory by default, so you may have to edit your folder options and tell it to show hidden files to find it.
