In the IBMLAN.INI file, there is a parameter for DOMAIN. I have filled this in with the Windows domain name, and have tried it with just a generic name. Another similarly configured OS2 workstation is able to see the files in the shared directory, but none of the Windows machine are able to see it in the browser, or able to connect to it using the UNC. TCP/IP is installed on both OS2 machines, as is Netbios. I have installed Netbios on the Windows machines, but they still cannot see the shared directory. All machines are on the same network, and a ping command works fine. Example, network name in IBMLAN file is BOXA. Directory that is shared is C:\TEST Both OS2 workstation can see each other's shared files by typing \\BOXA\TEST from a command prompt. I have a similar setup at another location, and it functions fine. For some reason, this particular setup does not work. |
