How to create a Network Team with two NIC adapters?

I am using a Abit KN9 SLI motherboard with two onboard NICs.

How can I create a network team with the two NIC so I can connect to my switch at 2gbits instead of having two 1gbit connections? I looked around the abit website and was unable to find any software to do so. There is nothing on the CDs that came with the product either. I am running Windows XP Pro SP2 with the latest drivers for the nic and motherboard chipset.

Windows does not support NIC teaming by itself. The NICs vendor needs to provide the drivers and the utility to create the virtual NIC. It looks like the MB is using NVIDIA NICs. According to

NVIDIA does support NIC teaming on their MBs. You MIGHT try downloading the drivers for their MB and try using the NIC drivers from that.
