Well the problem is that while playing certain games with 3D sound enabled, the computer restarts in the middle of the game, usually a few minutes while playing the game. When I disable the 3D sound, the computer does not reboot. I guess this problem is with my soundcard, thats why i'll tell u about my soundcard. Im not good in computers but ill try my best to tell u about my soundcard. Its Name is "Soundmax Integrated Digital Audio". Its version is "5.12.1.3503". and the type is WDM. well sometimes the pc reboots, while othertimes it stops everything, and shows a blue screen. this blue screen is filled with some strange codes and stuff. the words i can is something mentioned about dumping physical memory, and something about my sounddriver "wdm.exe". It says about critical error in "wdm.exe". and when the i reboot, then xp says, that the system has recovered from a serious error. I think this is soundcard problem. What should i do. I didnot find anysite about my drivers updating. i think this is all i can tell u. plz help!
