Counter Strike 1.0.0.5

Question: My counter-strike version is 1.0.0.5. I went into Play Cs, Lan games, Create game and finally choose one of the maps. But when i actually play in the game, there's no players. I cannot do +2 to add bots. When i did + 1, i think there's a gun symbol on the screen so..... could anyone help me? THanks for answering my question...

you should have some bot installer installed to be able to add bot..

also the mechanism of adding bots may vary...
some may require to write 'addbot' in the console to add a bot
