gothic3 engine FATAL ERROR Modules: eCApplication: : CreateEngine - can't find correct context in gfx system File name: cE: WorkspacePiranha BytesGothic III worksourceEngineadminge_application.cpps, LINE: #2958 I know some other people have posted issue the same as this on some foreign sites and can't find a solution. Any ideas? |

1. Do you have a legal version of this game, or is it cracked? 2. Can yoplease post the error message again, but now within a code box, because now the slashes are missing 3. Which version of the game do you have, and if not v1.0 which patches did you install 4. Which Graphics card do you have? Please answer above questions and i'll be ready to find a solution ------------------ 2oo7 |

My graphics card is a GeForce MX440 128mb |

Had the exact same error.. here's how I fixed it... I noticed in the history log that it was trying to read a file named c:\Document and Settings\Your Name\My Documents\Gothic3\UserOptions.ini and that it wasn't able to read it... so I went and checked only to realize that it had been renamed __UserOptions.ini for some reason.. so I renamed it from __UserOptions.ini to UserOptions.ini, made sure that the resolution was correct (had changed monitor since I had last played) and voila! that fixed it ![]() Let me know if it worked for you as well. gluck _Melk_ |
