WOW and WC3 vid error

Whenever i load world of warcraft and then close it and open warcraft 3 tft i get this wierd series of black lines going left to right on the screen.

Also the only way to temporary fix it is to reboot, my comp specs are, inspiron 9300 with Geforece6800 to go 256mb gc, 2gb of ram and 2ghz processor, and windows media center as os, its the latest build

those black lines are "artifacts". This is a common problem, it has to do with the graphics card. mostly this is a driver problem. so update drivers to latest version (remove old ones first!) and then come back
